We want the Healthy Planet space to house scholars, creators and artists from all over the world. They bring their experience and perspective and enrich students’ development and learning.
We want our students and teachers to encounter new thinking, opportunities and experiences, empowering them and opening their minds. To this end we are developing our Fellowship and Global Partnerships programme, which invites scholars and creative and performing artists, nationally and internationally, to engage with and enrich students’ holistic development and learning experiences.
Scholars and artists are independent thinkers with a unique perspective and deep understanding of their fields. Our students and teachers alike are exposed to and given unique experiences into their lives, culture and chosen fields, developing their own views and appreciation of the different cultures, arts and fields of study.
Our partnership with The Glasgow Academy in Scotland gives students the opportunity to co-learn, develop skills and engage with peers in a collaborative learning environment, on issues that matter most to them. They are learning how contributions to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals can be made with small changes in our own lives and encouraging others in our communities to do the same.
Our association with the Central Agency for German Schools Abroad (ZfA), gives opportunities to students who achieve the Diploma in German Language as a part of their academic learning in Grades 10, 11 and 12 to study at German Universities.
Through the British Council’s International Dimensions in Schools, our students participate in collaborative learning, investigating topics of interest to them in their own countries, share and compare their findings and present possible solutions to problems they’ve identified.
At Healthy Planet, international exposure isn’t just limited to the students. Our teachers get access to the best international learning and teaching practices through teacher exchange programmes with The Glasgow Academy and association with the Cambridge Assessment International Education. These partnerships contribute to enhanced professional growth and lifelong learning for our teachers.
